What is Innerdance?

Innerdance is not something you fully understand with the mind — it is something you discover through experience.

Each session can feel different, and words can only capture a part of it.

Innerdance is a natural state of heightened awareness that allows you to connect more deeply with yourself and experience a sense of wholeness. It can be seen as a form of energy work and inner exploration, where your system gently opens to deeper layers of consciousness.

This can influence how you experience emotions, memories, and perception. Many people gain new insights and begin to see themselves and their lives from a different perspective.

Over time, old patterns may start to dissolve, creating space for more balanced, healthy, and harmonious ways of being.

What happens during an Innerdance session?

During an Innerdance session, you lie down comfortably on a mat, close your eyes, and allow yourself to relax.

We create a safe and supportive space where you can explore what might be holding you back from fully expressing who you are.

Through a combination of music, sound, frequencies, subtle touch, and energy, your brain shifts into a deeper state of awareness, similar to a waking dream. In this state, your system naturally begins to process emotions, memories, and inner experiences.

You might revisit past memories, feel emotions more deeply, experience dream-like imagery, or access expanded states of consciousness. At the same time, you remain aware and in control, allowing the experience to unfold at your own pace.

Alongside the experience, we integrate scientific understanding and philosophical reflection to help you make sense of these inner processes. This creates space for self-understanding.

No special preparation is required, but here are a few helpful suggestions:

  • Avoid coming on a full stomach
  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Bring a yoga mat and a blanket if possible
